Our Mozambique concession is Coutada 11, in the famous Marromeu Complex bordering the Zambezi River. Two thousand square kilometres of sand forests, swamps, floodplains and tropical savannah hold twenty-two huntable species in great numbers.
This is buffalo country like nowhere else, with an estimated 24,000 buffalo in the region and herds that run into the thousands, alongside sable herds reaching a hundred animals. You hunt from elevated blinds over natural water and by spot-and-stalk, and stay in classic tented East-African camps.
